Anthropic announced on Tuesday an expansion of its Claude for Startups initiative, providing eligible businesses with subsidized access to its advanced AI models and various additional advantages.
Launched during Anthropic’s SF Tech Week event, the updated program offers a complimentary year of Claude Team, Anthropic’s premium plan for organizations, including up to five premium user seats, along with $1,000 in API credits for development using Claude. Participants will also gain entry to the Claude Marketplace, enabling them to create plug-ins for the service, and have the opportunity to schedule virtual office hours with Anthropic’s Applied AI team.
“We developed this program because we believe that the full advantages of AI will primarily reach individuals through companies that innovate using our models, rather than solely through the models themselves,” Anthropic stated in its announcement. “This makes close collaboration with founders and developers fundamental to our mission.”
Companies are considered eligible if they were established within the last five years or have secured funding in the past two years. Interested businesses can apply via the official Claude for Startups program page.
