Lovable, the AI-powered platform for building applications, which was last valued at $6.6 billion, is now actively looking for acquisitions. On Monday, the startup’s co-founder and CEO, Anton Osika, shared on X that the company is searching for “more great teams and startups to join Lovable.”
“Many of the people in key roles at Lovable were founders right before joining us,” he stated in an update. “We’ve built our culture in a way that makes founder-types thrive internally, being able to act autonomously and drive initiatives.”
Osika indicated that this opportunity would enable individuals working on compelling projects to continue their work at a larger scale and advised interested parties to connect with Théo Daniellot, the company’s head of M&A & Partnerships, via X.
Lovable’s initiative to acquire teams or smaller entities comes as it faces fierce competition from other development tools like Cursor, Replit, and Bolt, alongside the increasing capabilities of AI models themselves. Elena Verna, Lovable’s head of growth, has previously voiced concerns about competition from major AI labs such as OpenAI and Anthropic.
Despite these concerns, Lovable continues to demonstrate significant growth, having recently reported $400 million in Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR), a substantial increase from $200 million at the close of 2025. The platform also now sees the creation of over 200,000 new vibe-coding projects daily.
This would not be Lovable’s first foray into M&A, as it previously acquired the cloud provider Molnett in November to expand its cloud infrastructure team.
